The movie story is set in the 17th century where members of the rival Shirai Ryu ninja clan were killed by Lin Kuei assassins led by Bi-Han. In the attack, Hanzo Hasashi’s wife and son also met death. Enraged Hasashi kills many Lin Kuei attackers in a fight before falling to Bi-Han. After this, Raiden arrived and took the surviving infant daughter of Hasashi to a safer location.
