Ghostbusters centres on the lives of three parapsychologists: Egon Spengler Raymond Stantz and Peter Venkman. They choose to start their own ghost hunting company after losing their jobs at Columbia University. They bring in Winston Zeddemore to join their team as their business grows. As they protect New York City from alien threats their reputation soars. In the follow-up the Ghostbusters split up due to a legal battle and a ban on their paranormal pursuits. But when paranormal activity returns to the city the group reassembles to save New York with the help of the recognisable Ecto-1 vehicle and their dependable proton packs.
